By using BenefitsUSA, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. BenefitsUSA is operated by BenefitsUSA ("we", "us", or "our").

Description of Service

BenefitsUSA provides a free eligibility screening tool that helps individuals understand which government assistance programs they may qualify for based on self-reported household information. We do not provide legal advice, financial advice, or any guarantee of eligibility or enrollment in any program.

Not Legal or Financial Advice

The screening results generated by BenefitsUSA are estimates based on general eligibility guidelines. Results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, or a determination of eligibility. Actual eligibility is determined solely by the administering agency for each program. We encourage you to apply directly — there is no penalty for applying and being found ineligible.

Free Service and Referral Disclosures

BenefitsUSA is free for all users. We may display optional offers to connect you with licensed specialists (such as health insurance brokers, Medicare specialists, or disability attorneys) who can assist with enrollment at no cost to you. If you choose to use a referral service, we may receive a flat referral fee from the specialist or their organization. This fee does not affect the cost to you — all referred services remain free to the user.

Information You Provide

You represent that the information you provide during the screening is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You understand that screening results depend on the accuracy of the information provided. You agree not to submit false information in a way that could harm others or game program eligibility.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access, scrape, or copy the screening tool for unauthorized purposes
• Use automated bots or scripts to submit screening data at scale
• Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Disclaimer of Warranties

BenefitsUSA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that eligibility results will be accurate in every case. Eligibility rules change frequently, and we work to keep our tool current but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BenefitsUSA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any reliance on screening results. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100.

Partner Organizations

Organizations that embed or link to BenefitsUSA agree that the service is provided as-is and that BenefitsUSA is not responsible for outcomes from program applications made by their clients. Partners may not misrepresent the nature of the service or guarantee eligibility outcomes to their clients.

Privacy

Your use of BenefitsUSA is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, for health-related data, Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles.
